Bidvertiser’s advatanges don’t pay dividends
Well you may have known that I have been experimenting with bidvertiser on freecss.info. On paper bidvertiser looks great:
- Choose the ads to display
- Some keywords around $3+ a click
- Can customize the size of ads
- Can change text on ads
- Payment through paypal
These are things adsense doesn’t have or bidvertiser is better for. Sadly my time with bidvertiser has generated pretty much no revenue. I had a few clicks each worth around a few cent. Quite strange considering I had the few cent ads disapproved. Anyways the reason for this is bidvertiser has less advertisers than adsense therefore the ads or less relevant to your website. As it turned out there were no templates or css ads displayed for my website. Instead I was getting internet maketing ads. I therefore conclude bidvertiser is only good if you have a website which coverts a lot of topics. Any niche website is likely to get irrelevant ads and therefore terrible CTR.
If you have had success with bidvertiser I would love to hear from you. Even if it proved to be a massive flop for me.

Where you / are you making more money with adsense? You might blame them for no revenue, but if they make no money with adsense, there is no reason to blame them. I blamed yahoo for a while for not making money on a site, but in retrospect it was the site traffic that was the cause.

I blame bidvertiser because I used adsense before using it and made much more with it.
Thanks for the info. I’ll stay away from them.
well I used them once and thats when i was a newby and I clicked on my own ads..lol…so any way before I got banned I would average .10 to .50 cents a click…but I noticed ppc did drop after a few days.

Interesting observations! I would never go for a small ad company because almost no sites are in the poetry niche.
