Alternatives to adsense
Well since my account got banned I have been looking at alternatives to google adsense. So far I must say I haven’t found anything decent. Bidvertiser was my first option considered but I find there ads to be irrelevant and poor paying. My websites are for webmasters and the internet so I don’t think cpa ads are well suited for my traffic.
Things which I am currently trying. I am concentrating more on the text-link-ads affiliate program which pays $25 per referral. I am also testing bidvertiser on one of my websites and adbrite on another. Adbrite currently doesnt seem to be displaying any ads but hopefully that will change. I am also considering adding kontera to freecss.info when it is released. This website will remain without an advertiser for just now or will be used to test kontera.
If you want to recommend something to try please post a comment. Also if you have any tips to optimize adbrite or bidvertiser. I am already missing adsense. I had implemented link ads from adsense into freecss.info’s new design. That will have to be rethought

Sounds like you’re looking for a contextual program? I’ve heard some good things about Kontera recently - might be worth a look.
In a month or so, I’ll probably qualify for my first check from Google. I would be extremely annoyed if I was banned by them, especially if I hadn’t done anything to warrant a banning.
I’d work affiliate text links in around my site if I was banned though. Just more of the same.
I did not like Kontera for my site. It didn’t work well at all, paid .03 per click and had a low click ratio.
I think even John Chow makes more from them paying him 1k a month than he does from clicks.
I just signed up with Clicksor for one of my sites. I’ll report how that goes in one month.

Thanks, please do report back.
Id be interested to see if any of the others could make as much as Adsense.
Maybe its time to branch out into something else, like Affiliate product sales?

Just realised Clicksor has inline links. Not bad!!

I am from UK so YPN isn’t an option sadly. I have been experimenting with a few different advertisers but it was adsense which was so integrated into the new design fro freecss.info.
So far I have received one reply from google but believe it was an automated response. The reason I can’t really use others while I wait is because I use the adlink block on the right column. No other advertisers offer them as far as I know,
I’m always looking for alternatives to adsense. Thanks for this.

I would recommend staying with adsense if you are on it already. You will find it is far superior than any others.
