Get a paid domain!

Posted under Web Newbies on August 12

On forums I hear a lot about people creating their websites on free domains and people desperate to jump on the opportunity to get a free .com domain. For people new to the internet my advice is simple. Get a paid domain! $8 a year or something like that is not going to make a huge dent in you bank is it? I can pretty much guarantee if you buy a domain and set up a blog and update regularly you will make a profit. All you need to do is read blogs and forums for tips and you generate money quite easily to pay you domain fees.

You will probably want to make money from google adsense, this is my favourite PPC provider and the only one which I currently use. I would also suggest namecheap.com or mydomain.com to register your domain. Without a domain you can still make money but it is a sever hindrance on the popularity of your website.

  2. I think the big problem is most people don’t realize how cheap it is to buy Domain Names not to mention how cheap it is to have your website hosted.

  3. Look at this blog we are all commenting in for a good example of a paid domain that is hosted. Obviously, the owner is doing quite well in Adsense earnings. Applause given. :)

  4. Haha if only I was so lucky.

  5. I notice on your barchart you make most of your money from Freelancing. Is this page design, or graphic design?
